Human Tetanus Immunoglobulin (HTIG)

[Dosage Form] 

It’s clear, colorless or light yellow liquid. Opalescence may occur but without turbidity.  

[Indications] 

It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of tetanus, especially for those who are allergic to tetanus antitoxin (TAT).

[Specification] 

250IU (2.5ml)/vial or PFS , each bottle contains 250IU (2.5ml) of tetanus antibody.

[Usage and dosage]

Usage: For intramuscular injection on the buttocks, no skin test is required, and it should not be used for intravenous injection.

Dosage:

1.Preventive dose:Inject 250IU for children and adultseach time. If the wound is severe or with serious pollution, it can be doubled.

2.Reference treatment dose: 3000~6000IU, use up as soon as possible, and can be injected at multiple points. The treatment plan is as prescribed by doctor.
